Manchester Candle Makers was founded by Trisha who handmakes them in the village of Mossley.
Born and raised in Manchester, all of her memories serve as personal inspiration for the candles, brand aesthetics and scents. For Trisha, the scent from a candle carries more than just a pleasant aroma. A scent has the power to capture a moment in time and can bring back fond memories you thought you had forgotten.
Trisha is determined to make her candles look as amazing as they smell and has designed a mill logo as a nod to Manchester’s industrial past. Each candle and wax melt are vegan lifestyle friendly and made using 100% soy wax. The premium fragrances mean that your home will be filled with the rich aromas of Manchester Candle Makers candles while you enjoy a long clean burn time. Beautifully contained in stylish amber glass vessels which are designed to be reusable (from paper clips and pens to make-up brush holders) which means you can still enjoy long after the candle is finished.
We are also very happy to say that we supported Trisha back in the day when she was looking for funding for a local wildlife project that she wanted to get off the ground. We love how things come full circle!
